At the very heart of Moses was simply his relationship with God. His secret was intimacy with God Himself and a breaking off of anything Egyptian in his life. He was the #2 person in Egypt, and through many years in the wilderness he developed a relationship with God.
While I agree that it's great to give and not seek to get only as well as develop a grateful attitude to whatever circumstances we may be in, the fact was that Moses spoke with God as 'a man speaks to his Friend'. Unfortunately, there are some Christians who look and act like they've been baptized in lemon juice and their attitude reflects it.
There was a relationship there, which was and still is several clicks before the 'attraction' blessings happen.
The real power of the divine belonged to and still belongs to the Divine... God, revealed through His Only Son, Jesus Christ. And, if there is something divine working in me, it's God, I'm just cooperating, hopefully.
Thx.
